Growing Up

With only one mistake, two cuss words and just a slight injury, the boys have bunkbeds in their room now. We have been meaning to get them for a while. Poor Caleb had reached the end of his little car bed. They look great and the boys are so excited! Of course Caleb is on the top bunk, because he is the oldest, and poor little Ben just can't climb up there! While taking their old beds out, I found myself feeling sad. Somehow bunkbeds remind me that the boys are growing up. They won't be little forever. They still amaze me with all they are learning and all the things they think are funny. I intend to hold them and hug them just a little more now because, without me knowing, they are getting bigger and time is only going by faster.

Bunkbeds are so much fun! It's wonderful that you're taking the time to treasure up in your heart all the different stages of your kids as they grow!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I think I need to stop blinking because time just goes by too quickly. I still love the new stuff, but watching them grow is bittersweet.
