So I got a new job! I am still doing some of what I was doing taking care of patients but most of my week I am the unit educator. That means I help new people get all their paper work and classes and certifications done so they can work. I also help the current staff keep up with all the training we have to have. I hope that I will get all the clerical stuff down so one day I will actually have time to do some teaching, but we will see how that goes. The big thing it means for us now is more normal hours and only one weekend a month instead of every Sunday like I was doing. Big plus. We are all adjusting to the change but it is a good thing.
Summer is upon us in central Texas and the boys would live in the water if they could. They are such little fish! Doesn't matter if it's the hose, the bathtub or the splash park down the road, they love being wet.
Ben is talking more all the time and putting words together like today was "juice, all gone". He loves the swing, which he calls the "wee", and the twisty slides at the park which he has to do by himself like most things these days.
Caleb recently learned how to play hide and seek and thinks it is some fun to find mom and dad. He also has quite the imagination, spinning tales of how last night he got bit by a crab and then a scary tree ate the crab and then...and then....and then...they can get very elaborate.
Josh is tossing around the idea of going back to school. I would like for him to, but we just have to see where God leads us and the ever important financial aspect. All things in their time.
Hope all are well!
